Hey guys, my name is Jennifer and me and my bf have been dating for over two years, and well Im not sure if I could be pg or not, my period has never been very regular, I can go like 4 or more months without having one, it can be pretty nice at times, but not always LOL. Anyhoos, I went to the dr with concerns a few months ago, and according to him everything is fine, and then the next day I got my period, and that was back in sept. My bf and I dont use protection, we want to start trying. Well back in nov I thought my period was coming,I had that period smell..lol but I never got it, instead I had this brownish discharge, it was really gross. I had it for about a wk. And lately I've been more tired and moody and hungry alot, and I've been so much, its crazy. And I've been feeling sorta nausious in the mornings, having alot of heartburn and headaches. Im not really sure what sort of sysmptoms to expect when your pg. I got a couple p-tests but I never got any results. It was weird. A friend of mine suggested I wait a few wks before trying agian. Could I be pg or is my body just changing? I just turned 28 on Monday. Im so confused, please help?!?

Hi Jennifer,
My period is also irregular. The cycle can be 28-45days. But normaly 30-35 days. You need to count your days even if they are irregular. You want to know your shortest and longest. Do that for several months and you'll get an idea. Sometimes brown discharge could be a light period flow. If counting from your nov period when would be your next period? Wait until you are late and test. Or you can just test it now. If it is negative wait until you are due for your next period. I'm 39 days since my last period and I've not tested yet. I'm waiting untill I'm 45 days into my cycle. My period in nowhere in sight and I've not much pg symptoms. My last preganancy I didn't have major symptoms.
I would request a blood pg test to see if you're pg or not.

Hi Jennifer,
You can try testing at home, if you haven't already. Good luck! Keep posting your outcome.
