Confused about symptoms

The last few months I have had these small bumps around my nipples. In reading about Montgomery tubercles, I think that's what I have. Also in reading it says that they only show up when you are pregnant. I haven't missed an AF visit, I am late a few days here and there. This last time I was 8 days late and it was shorter than normal. Usually I am light one day, heavy for 2 days, then light to almost nothing the last 2 days. This time I was heavy the first, lighter the 2nd and there's almost nothing coming out now.

What's wrong with me?!?

Hello,

You are most likely not pregnant because you have had your period. As far as the bumps, most women have them naturally. I know I do and I am not pregnant yet. Take a HPT to be sure but it doesnt sound like you are prego.

I took a test on 7/13 and it was negative. My younger sister told me that our birht mother had af for 3 months before she found out she was pg. I don't remember when they showed up. I know that I haven't have them very long. I had an email in the past tlaing about a new breast cancer that shows on the surface and not inside. I was a little nervous about i at first but then I thought, "it's an email why should I belive it". Then I was reading through the stuff on this site and found info about montgomery tubercles. My cycle was 8 days late which has never happened, I usually have 28 day cycles. My mom says that I am just going though changes. I had my 23rd b-day in April.

Thanks!!!

Hello Tisha!

I did a search on the web about montgomery tubercles and basically they are always present but enlarge when pregnant..also Areola gets darker. You will find out that through out your life your period will change cycle days, be late, early or you may even just miss a month, be heavy , be light...I am 33 and have experienced it all. If you are concerned you should take another hpt and/or blood test.

Good Luck! Keep me posted!

I do remember that when I graduated high school, af was every 2 weeks for 3 months straight. It was horrible. I hated it. I talked to a girl at work and she said that she has them too. It makes me feel better when I know someone has the same thing I do because then I don't feel like there is something wrong with me.

Thanks for all your help!!!

Hello,

No problem Tisha! I know, it definately makes things easier when you know you are not the only one. Like I said, if you are concerned you should go for a bloodtest or take another HPT.

I hope you get the answer you are looking for.
