Confused & Stressed! Am I or Am I Not???

This is long, so I apologize! But I have to get it off my chest!
This is our first month TTC. My periods have always been like clockwork, even since I've been off the pill (took my last white pill end of Dec). My AF should have been here Wednesday, 3/28, but she still hasn't arrived. I took a test Wednesday afternoon, & had a negative result. I was sort of expecting it, since it was so late in the day & I had been drinking tons of water & pottying all day (sorry if that is TMI). On Thursday morning, I got up & took one first thing. Another negative! Still no AF!! Today, Friday, I took another test at 6:00 am. This one was a little different than the other 2 b/c the negative line was very faint.....almost not even there, but it was definitly a negative. Could this mean anything?
What is going on? Am I or am I not? The first test, I used a cup & put the stick in for 5 seconds, per the directions. On Thursday morning I went directly on the stick for 5 seconds. I did it same way this morning, only difference is I held it under for 10 seconds.
Last night, I went back over my calenders & checked my cycles again......I am positive that I have not miscalculated my dates. Could it be that I'm just stressing myself out too much & that is why I haven't started? Stress is not a new thing for me, but never have I stressed myself so much that AF was late. Any ideas? I'm ok either way...if we are prego that is wonderful! But if not, then I'm not going to be upset, b/c I never expected it to happen this quickly....we'll just keep trying, & that's the fun part! It's just the not knowing that is making me crazy insane!
Can anyone give me some words of wisdom? Do I just keep waiting? Or should I continue to test?
By the way.....I always have PMS symptoms, backache, cramps & I get a headache that starts on the day before AF that always ends up being a full blown migraine on Thursday. So far.....not a single symptom! And no migraine!!! This may be the first time in 6 years that I haven't had one!! That's got to mean something, right?
Thanks for listening!

Susan, it could be the test that you bought. Some tests are a lot more sensitive than others. Some can tell you 3 days before you're late, other can't give you an accurate reading until you are 5 or 6 days late. Do you know the sensitivity of the test you used?
I know with me, I talked to the pharmacist and bought the most sensitive one. Then I tested first thing in the morning each day my friend wasn't there.
Good luck. Keep us posted.

The first test I did was the EPT Early Detection test. I actually took on the day I should have started. The second test I did was a Wal-Mart brand. This may be a stupid question, but could it have anything to do with the fact that I drink mostly water all day long & use the bathroom about every 30 minutes? Could it be that my urine is so "watered down" so to speak, & the hormones just aren't showing up? Is that even a possibility? I went to bed at midnight last night, going right before bed. Then I didn't get up again until 6:00 am, & that is when I tested. My plan was to wait & test again on Sunday, but do you think I should continue to test everyday? I had also planned that by Monday morning, if my AF hasn't arrived, I would call my doctor. Does this seem too early to call them? This is my first month TTC, my first late period & I know that I'm stressed out beyond belief. I try to make myself relax, but it just isn't happening! I couldn't even get into my yoga class last night, that's how stressed I am!
Thanks for listening!
