Could this be a sign???

Hello!

I have a question. We tried the week of 12th thru 16th to conceive. I have no other symptoms but lately I've been a little low and depressed...I usually don't get this way until a few days before my next AF (PMS). So I am wondering, is that a sign at all? That my hormones are going a little awry? Has anyone else felt that way and it turned out that they were pregnant?

Please respond!!

I agree with you totally!! This is my first time of trying ever and for the first few days I'd swear I had every symptom under the sun but I know seriously I really haven't had any and that none of them lasted...so have given up on all those! But lately I've been so cranky and I wonder why...probably just the stress of not knowing!! I'm also trying really hard not to be too hopeful so I won't be too disappointed...there's only a 15% chance and I know taht's not much!

Thanks for the reality check! :)

Hey I'm in your shoes. I want to be too and am fighting every temptation of a "symptom" - lol

Hopefully we'll both have good news soon!

Ladies-

I hear ya...I am trying NOT to think about it or give in to thinking about my symptoms, but it is really hard. You WANT to be able to talk about it with friends, but you worry they'll think you're nuts. It's taboo to talk about this type of stuff too early, right??

I'll be testing somewhere between 10/28 and 10/31 depending how long I can hold out. This is our first month trying and I swear that we hit it right based on my body signs (I am new to the board so I'll spare you the details since I don't know all the acronyms).

:-)

Speaking of which... I can figure out what AF is based on the context, but can't for the life of my figure out what AF stands for. Help?

I send good thoughts to all of you... this is TOUGH waiting. I think 9 months will be rough on me!

AF stands for the Silly euphemism of Aunt Flow... Wouldn't MP for Menstrual Period make more sense for adult conversation? lol

Hello

This is my first visit to the board too. I feel exactly the same as you. I am also having a tought time with the abbreviations. This is my 1st month ttc #1. I don't test till the 30th. I just got married on 10-4-03 so this could truly be a honeymoon baby. I too have all the symptoms but I think I may just be noticing the stuff I normally feel. I think by breast are sore cause my bra is too tight and I am grumpy cause I have to wait till the 30th test and I am tired because I stay on this websit for hours at night!! I am just trying to analyze every little movement. It is still the excitement of what if this is it.I am soooooo glad that there are other people like me who wonder about every little possible "symptom." I want to talk about it to everyone but i know they will think I am crazy. People keep warning me " it could take several months, don't get your hopes up". I know it normally takes a few cycles, I don't have false hopes I just want to talk about it. I don't think most people realize how aware you are of your cycle and of the pregnancy process when you are charting.

Anyway sorry for the lack of abbreviations, I will get the hang of it!! Thanks for being here and for giving a safe place to ask and share. Good luck everybody!

Aunt Flow, huh? I NEVER would have guessed that -- thanks for helping me out!

Okay, so I had what I would consider a "hot flash" at 3:30am this morning. I rarely wake up like that in the middle of the night, but I was so damn hot I couldn't take it. I had to turn on the ceiling fan and change my jammies to cool off. My poor hubby was huddling under the covers to keep warm. :-) Another sign??? I keep waiting to see some implantation bleeding, but so far nothing. I'm at 8 days past so I still have awhile to wait for testing. I know blood tests are usually accurate after 10 days, but HPTs are usually 14 days, right?

We have thought we were pg (acronym for pregnant, right?) before and were pretty beaten down when we weren't. So...I am hesitant to read too much into the signs, but I've switched to decaf and have stopped drinking just in case...hopefully for a reason...AND if I am not pregnant, I will enjoy a wonderful apple martini and wait a few more weeks before starting this whole mind game over again, right? (Can you tell that I am trying to convince myself that it's okay either way?!?)

I am with you and have done all the same things as you. I have stopped drinking alcohol, caffeine, and have been eating so much better. I have also been getting up in the middle of the night which I never did before. I haven't slept with any covers for 2 weeks and have the fan directly on me every night. I keep telling myself these symptoms I am having are all in my head because I don't want to get myself all excited for nothing. I'm so with you on that apple martini if AF comes.

WOW I didn't even think of that of a sign (the hotflash thing). I woke up the past 3 nights (i never wake during the night) and my body was soaked to the point i had to change.

I thought it was because we just got a new comforter on the bed and that was making me hot.lol
