Could I be?

My husband and I have been ttc (trying to conceive) for 2 years. We've been seeing an RE since January. We had an IUI done 2 weeks ago - tomorrow I go in for a blood test to see if I'm preggers. I've been feeling weird for the last week - so I took a pregnancy test this afternoon. Much to my surprise there was a faint positive sign! I was so excited! So was my hubby! So he ran to the store and got another pregnancy test. I peed on it as soon as he got home, I had hardly any pee left in me but it was negative. :-( What do you guys think? I have to say that in the 2 years we've been trying, we've never once gotten a positive until today...

If it had been less than 4 hrs since the last time you peed, then the hcg in your system hadn't built up enough to make the test positive. I'd test again in the morning---sounds like you're prego!! Congrats! :)

Hey there!! Congrats on what sounds like a postive result to me :) I would test again tomorrow with FMU. What test did you use if you do not mind me asking? I got a BFP on a digital 8 DPO ((I think it was, I know it was really early)).

Good luck. Also, try not drinking too many liquids tonight. As much as you want to pee and pee it is going to dilute the HCG in your urine. ...Speaking from experience...I spent about $100 in pregnancy tests before I beleived I was preggers.

The first test we used was a cheapy off of ebay - my sister-in-law gave it to me. I'm not sure what brand it was though. We got the positive on that one. I peed a half-hour later on an EPT and it was negative.
