Could I be pregnant?

Hi there

I could do with a couple of opinions on something. I got married in June and went on my honeymoon on 12th June until 22nd. During this time I was taking the contraceptive pill. I should have had a period while I was out there, but I took 2 packs in a row to stop myself having one. Whilst on holiday I forgot to take my pill a couple of times and didn't take any extra precautions. A couple of weeks ago I started to notice a few wierd symptoms. At first I felt really sick and as though my tummy was rumbling loads - this went on for about a week on and off. I also kept getting headaches which never happens, although that has stopped now too. Now I seem to be really really tired and want to sleep in the afternoon. Plus, I am always hungry, seem to have more saliva than usual and last week noticed I had much more discharge than usual. I have had a period since the honeymoon which started around 10th July and lasted for about 5 days - much lighter than usual and shorter too. Today I have had cramps in my lower tummy but my period isn't due.
Am I just being paranoid or could I be pregnant? I don't have sore boobs.

Hi tash12006,

I've never had children, but maybe you should take a test to check. Are you still taking the pill? I don't think that will effect the results of the test. You could also have an overload of hormones from doubling up on your pills. Either way, congratulations on your wedding. Keep me posted.

Everyones symptoms are different. You should get some HPKs and see where you are after that.
I dont know you like you know your own body, so you may be pregnant, or you could be thinking about it so much your making yourself think you are. Bodies are funny that way! There is really nothing to say to confirm this or explain this.

Grab a Home Pregnancy Kit on your way home and see what happens. If your very worried, go to the Drs and they can do a blood test for you. Good luck!
