I was supposed to get my period on 9/10, nothing, then on the 11th I had a lot of cramps and then spotted, on the 12th I had light flow for 30hours. Then just light spotting for a few days. Well my hips have been sore the past week, and sat night I began very light pink spotting, only on the toilet paper, still have it today, very very faint. I took a hpt not with morning urine but at least held it for 3 hours and there was a faint line. Even my husband saw the line. Could I be pg, if I am, am I losing it by having the spotting and I do have some cramps and I am bloated. I am sorry to ramble but I am just so nervous, because all I have ever seen is bfn not even a faint line until now. Please anyone let me know what you think.

Sounds promising, but what I would do is call the doctor to do a blood test. If your that far into it, then a blood test should definately show positive. Light bleeding and light cramping is normal sometimes in early pregnancy. Good luck and let us know.

I would call the doctor to get a blood test done.If not you can always try to re test with a early pregnancy test and see what that tells you.Im keeping my fingers X for you !!

Well I just came back from the doctor's office. I will get my results back after 1:30pm. I took another test when I got home and it was a little darker than the first but then I had a little more discoloration on the toilet paper, a little darker, but not red by any means. I believe that I am pregnant, but worried that I won't be for long.

As they all say, "A line is a line is a line!!" CONGRATS! Sounds like you're gonna be a mommy. I wouldn't worry about the spotting. Some women do spot during implantation and early pregnancy. I would make an appt. w/your doc and see what they have to say. If you are PG, they'll go ahead and get you started on that valuable prenatal care. Again, good luck and keep us posted!

Well I just took a nap, (I work through the night), I went to the bathroom and there was just pink-orange light stuff on the toilet paper. When I got back to bad I started with pains to the left side that radiate to the back. I am fearing the worst. My husband is excited about the two pos. hpts, but I can't seem to get excited because I am scared. I will call the dr. at 1:30. What do you think I should ask the nurse, since that is who I will be talking to.

I would tell her what your concerns are but from everything I have ever read, what you're experiencing is completely normal! Please let us know when you get your results. =)

Hi! I don't want to be the only one saying what you don't want to hear, but having been through 3 early(under 6 weeks) miscarriages myself, I know that you need to hear the worst case senario. The spotting CAN be normal, but it can also be a sign of impending miscarriage. I suggest that you #1 Rest as much as possible. Lay down with your feet up and breath slowly and deeply. Try to relax. If there is an ovum in there trying to imbed, let it!!!#2 if you get a positive HCG level, ask to go back two days later for another level. It should double if the ovum is doing well!!! I know how awful this is. Luckily, I have two beautiful kids to keep me busy. ( I had a miscarriage, then had my son, then had another miscarriage, then had my daughter, then had another misscarriage.) My problem is low progeserone. If this doesn't work out for you,( I really hope it does!!!) I have two books to suggest. The first is "How to Prevent Miscarriage" by Stefan Semchyshyn, M.D. The second is " Getting Pregnant, What Couples Need to Know Right Now" By Niels H. Lauersen, M.D.,PH.D If you are an active participant in your fertile health, I know you will have a beautiful baby in your arms someday soon!! Don't give up!!!! Good Luck!!!

Hi, I have two little children and think I may just be pregnant with my third. I had quite bad cramps in my lower abdomen with both my children and I have them again now (5 weeks since lmp). I was very worried the first time, and less worried the second time but I am not really worried this time because I know how normal it is. As for the spotting, I am not sure because I didn't really have any, but I have heard from friends and doctors that it is not really bad unless it is bright red and fresh. Pink or brown is quite normal but I would DEFINITELY check with your doctor because it's always better to be safe than sorry. Just rest a lot over the next few day and lie down when you can. Make sure you are taking folic acid and avoid alcohol, caffine etc. I will be praying for you. Love Ruth

Well here is an update. My hcg level is 92. I don't know how far I am because of the 30 hour bleeding I had on the 12th. But now I am having rusty colored blood on the toilet paper, sometime rusty mucous. I am still having pains in the left hip/groin area. The nurse is aware, my reg dr was out mon., so I will be calling him this morning to see what is next. I do think I am losing this baby, I am trying not to get my hopes up. Can't sleep, got too many things on my mind. Plus today in our 3rd Anniversary, wouldn't it be nice to get good news.
