cramping

I am about 3 days late for AF (but sometimes my cycle is 5 weeks instead of 4). I have taken several (okay 3!) home tests and all of them had faint positive. But I am definitely cramping and getting nervous about it. No spotting as of yet. I have read that cramping is normal in the first trimester, but is it normal this early (3 days after missed period?). My breasts are also really tender. Didn't know if this was common this early? Wanted to hear others experiences so that I could calm down and really believe that I might be truly pregnant!

well, i cannot tell from "experience" but from what I have read, a positive IS A POSITIVE even if it was faint. I also got a positive but I am going to wait a week until I re-test than go to the gyno. I have also been having cramps, which is normal and expected.

Yes it is possible to have mild cramping, some say it's like their period but without bleeding. Your body is adjusting to the pregnancy and making room for the baby. So yes of course this is possible. If you've already taken a couple of tests and they are all +++ then I'd say you're pregnant, so mild cramping would be considered ok this early. I would go ahead and call the dr. Let us know.
