cramping?moms that have had a few baby

This is, of course, the month I didn't use my monitor to know when/if I ovulated, so I have no idea when/if I ovulated or how many DPO I am. I'm still nursing my 18 month old. We are TTC #4.

My AF should be here now and it probably will start as soon as I "send" this message out but I had a question. I usually don't get crampy before AF starts, usually cramps start late day 1 or day 2 when she really gets into full swing.

Today I've had horrible cramp type pain on the sides of my belly (around where the ligaments are) and I had that pain the last time I was pregnant. But today it is really really bad. No spotting, even at cervix, cervix is still high and soft and closed. If you've had more than a few babies does that pain in the ligaments gets worse with the next pregnancy?

I took a early first response this morning and it was definetly a BFN. I don't want to waste another one tomorrow and will wait until Friday to take another one.

Thanks for any help ladies!

I just wanted to say, I'm possibly expecting my fourth as well. my whole lower half is cramping, yesterday was the worse though. Today is mild compared to that. I've also had other symptoms, but I was wondering the same as you about worse as time goes on. Maybe it's because we know our insides a bit more? who knows.

I was kind of thinking the pain gets worse because I remember breast feeding #1 and having no contrations while nursing at all but when #2 (and #3) nursed those first few days it was like labor starting all over again it hurt so bad! So I was wondering if the same kind of thing happens to the uterus. The balloon getting blown up again kind of thing :)

That's a good point about just knowing our bodies better. It's certainly seen a baby before :). I do know that it's ligament pain and not regular uterine cramping and I know that because we've been down this road before. I guess only time will tell. Boy, a few days go by so fast usually but when you are waiting for something time bascially just stands still!

Good luck to you!
