+ CVS Early PG Test, - Digital This A.M?

Hey everyone....(again!) Like I wrote yesterday, I took a CVS brand Early HPT with FMU yesterday morning.........it came back with a light, thin BLUE line, not gray like an evap usually is. (Still is very blue in color even this morning, just thinner than the control line). So, I took that as a + obviously since there wouldn't be a line there if there wasn't a reason for it! lol Right? Well, I went out yesterday and got a Clearblue Digital test to use this AM. I used THAT one with FMU also, but it came back "not pregnant"! I'm not due for AF until tomorrow, and I know that the digital tests require more HCG than an Early HPT, but I guess I'm just looking for some words of wisdom, and/or advice from all of you ladies :) You've always been there before, so I guess I'm just confused.........**big sigh**......I don't know. Any thoughts? Thanx in advance for all your help.

Confused as usual:
Nikki

Hey Nikki... it's so possible that the timing wasn't right for the digital. Give it another day and try again... you're right, they do need more hcg than the early ones. Good luck!! Keep us posted!!! :)

Thanx Robin :) I THOUGHT that that's what I read re: the digitals. So, I guess perhaps I didn't have enough HCG..........but I have just one more ? :)

Yesterday with CVS brand Early Result I got the positive.......it's very noticable, thin, and lighter than the control line, but you don't have to tilt it or turn it to see the blue. So, being the POAS addict I am, I took 2 Fact Plus tests (after holding "it" for 3 hours). One was negative, one was an "in-between-er", KWIM? Then, this morning with FMU I took the Digital. Got a negative. So, I went out and got more of those CVS brands, and took one this afternoon, after holding "it" again for about 3 hours. That one was iffy too...........I JUST WISH I KNEW WHAT IN THE WORLD WAS GOING ON!!!!!!!! I've only gotten one true BFP and that was yesterday morning........all of the others have been negative or just weird!!!!!!! GRRR I'm really starting to get frustrated, and it's making my head hurt :( Any advice, experiences, or ideas? Should I still consider myself probably pg based on the FMU early result from yesterday? And accept that I'm still too early for a BFP in the PM??? (AF is due tomorrow) Thanx again ladies! :) Best wishes to all of you!

prolly the only reason you got BFN on all the other ones was cuz you weren't using FMU and only held your pee for a few hours...that way isn't really that reliable this early into it.

Use FMU and use another test tomarrow in the AM and you will prolly get another BFP =)

Congrats

Hey Nikki... I had always been a fan of saying... 'a line is a line is a line"... but without repeating the whole thing I'll tell you about my experience last month. I too was getting those faint, faint (but definitely there) 2nd lines on HPTs, and same as you, I went out and got a digital... BFN. I went to the doctors, the urine test there said BFN, but the blood test came back borderline... then I got AF. Turns out I had a chemical pregnancy... I was "a little bit" pregnant

Hi Robin :) I remember reading your post, and just wanted to say (again) sorry to hear about your experience.........But, on the positive note, I admire a lot of you ladies here, you included :), for all of the positive thoughts and advice that you all give.......and not only how determined all of you are at TTC, but MOST importantly how all of you refuse to quit! :) It definetly puts a smile on my face when I'm down from a BFN, or (like now! lol), down and worried about what's going on. I appreciate all of the posts that you ladies put up as well as how kind and helpful all of you are :) I guess I just wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for all of the advice and even just saying hello! It's appreciated more than any of you know!!! :)

I am definetly keeping my fingers crossed, but not too tightly so as to not give my hopes up this time........I will definetly keep all of you posted on the "verdict" whether good or not so good. I hope all of you fine ladies get your BFPs, cuz God knows that each and everyone of you deserve it!!!

(Just an emotional moment I guess lol.......been havin A LOT of those lately!!! Look out SO!! lol)

Baby Dust, and Best wishes
Nikki

Hi Nikki...that was so nice to say... thank you very much. I agree there are so many women on here that have amazing stories to tell and always give the best advive. Believe me, I try to soak it all in. Technically this is only my 3rd cycle TTC, so I can't be too upset if it doesn't happen this month, ya know? There are so many women that have been trying for alot longer than I have and have had several more negative experiences, but you're right, they all stay so focused and positive about everything. It makes it so much better to know that there are women out there everywhere who is going through similar experiences. I know it helps pass alot of that boring "waiting" time go by much faster when I log on here and read all the new posts. I especially
