Cycle all out of Whack

I am posting here because I need some advice and am very confused. . . My last AF was Aug 19 and I started the pill on the 23 but quit after 4 days because I am breast feeding my 9 month old DD and felt bad about her getting some of the hormones from the pills. I got my AF again on the 29th, most likely messed my cycle up from only taking 4 days worth of pills. For the past week I have had major cramping (which I never ever get) and I have been so tired and fatigued, my breasts have been so sore that I have thought about quitting BF just because of the pain. My question is. . . are all of these symptoms from messing my body up with the hormones from the pills or could I be pregnant? When you bleed out of cycle like that what is really going on in your body? I am really afraid that I messed my cycle up really bad, my normal AF was due on the 19th. But should I now count from the day that I bled from the pill? If anyone has any insight I would be greatly thankful!

excluding the pregnant part, i started on the pill (yasmin) and had all sorts of weird periods (for like 2 months) and pregnacy symptoms (sore breasts, headaches, "morning" sickness, cramps), stopped taking it for almost a month, and had weird bleeding then, then started taking it again. i was on it another 2 months before i had anything remotely like a normal period. if you haven't been on the pill before, it seems really really strange, but it could be causing it and from what i've heard, it's fairly common. but also, i've read (and heard in college human development classes) that it can take a couple months after giving birth before you really have a normal period again. i'd track everything just in case, but it's probably just the weird affects from the combination of everything. if you're considering taking a test, i'd wait until your period is due from the last time you bled unless you start having some heavy-duty symptoms before then. good luck!

Thank you so much for you reply. Come to think of it I haven't been regular since I've had Leah and I always seem to let my mind run crazy when I think it is time to have another baby!! Thank you again so much and who knows maybe all this crazy stuff will spark my hubby to want another as well!
