Depressed...

Hi everyone! I am just not feeling up to myself lately and I think I am depressed. I have suffered depression in the past and went off my meds as we are ttc #1. I am due for my period on saturday and I am afraid that I will get it because I have absolutely no pregnancy symptoms at all. So, I am down in the dumps as we have been trying since June. I took an early pregnancy test (first response that you can take up to four days before your period) and it was negative. I am bloated and gassy but those could be because my period is due. I know it can take a while but my husband is in the military and will be leaving next fall on tour and we really want to have a baby before he goes. It is so frustrating. I guess the only symptom that I can find is that I am so exhausted. No sore boobs, no implantation bleeding. I did have cramping during and after I o'd. I have regular cycles around 28 days and my last period was Sept 27.

Wish me luck and baby dust to all of you!!

I have never suffered from depression, but I can understand you feelings, it is very hard TTC. Some women don't have any symptoms untill they are father along. And also, some women don't show +++ on a test untill after their period is due. I took tests for over a week with my second son. All were ---, and finally a BFP. I never had any implantational bleeding with either PG, so don't take that as a sign either...I wish you the best and will send ++++ vibes your way... Best of luck...

You have to remember that some ladies do not get 1 sympton when they get pregnant.I know they say listen you your body but at time's it does not let you know your pregnant.Have you thought about geting Ovulation test to give you a little extra help.Im sorry to hear your depressed i have a husband who is very depressed who has to take meds every day just so he can get out of bed every day, try to relax and take care of your self.Did the doctor take you of your meds or did you do it withour talking to him first.I have a friend who is also very depressed and she was kept on her meds all 9 months.

I went off with help from the doctor as they weaned me off. He did say that if I did get bad again we could try something. I really don't want to take anything while TTC or when I actually conceive. I have been using an ovulation predictor kit so I know I have been ovulating. I just want to be a mommy in the worst way!!

Oh i can understand that 100% we was trying for about 3 months i ended up saying it will never happen and tahn the next month i was pregnant.I think a lot is that you have to relax i kniow easier said than done.Do you have a health store near like like Henry's, they have natural meds that you may be able to take that can at least relax you a little, read the back label first.

It might help if you had a little more control over the situation. I recommend getting the book "Taking charge of your Fertility", if you haven't done so already. People have had great results with it, and it may speed up the process for you.

Depression is a scary thing - please take care of yourself and stay in close contact with your dr at all times. Exercise and diet can also boost your mood, so find out as much as you can. Good luck!
