Different pregs, different hpt results?

Hi!

I have read extensively on this site about every woman having different hcg levels at different points, as to have pregnancy tests show positive earlier or later. What I am wondering is if the same woman has had pregnancy tests show positive at much different points with different pregnancies. Thank you

Its funny you ask. With my first pregnancy (we weren't trying) the day after I missed my period I took a test (not a sensitive one) and it showed up a strong positive immediately. With my second pregnancy I took the most sensitive test (20 miu of HCG) at 10 days after ovulation (I was charting so I know for sure) and it came back a faint positive. I took a test on Sunday, my period was due Friday, with a very sensitive test (again 20 miu of HCG) and it was barely, barely positive. It makes me wonder if maybe I'm having an early miscarriage?? I'm going to test again on Tuesday morning to see if the line is getting darker.

Oh, all tests were taken using first morning urine.

So, yes, I guess all pregnancies are different, even for the same person.

I hope this helps,

Joanna

So far for me they are the same. I produce hcg like crazy. LOL For the first two, I don't remember how late I was when I tested, no more than a week though, and strong positives right aways. This pregnancy I tested a day before AF with a store brand test and got an immediate strong positive. But its not the same case for every one.
