do you think I'm pregnant?

I never thought I would be posting on a board like this. I've been pregnant once before and figured if it happened again, I would know.

I just changed BC last month. My Dr. said I didn't need to worry about using a back up method. I forgot 3 of my pills total for last month. So I just stopped taking them and let my period come. And it did, about 4 days(11/1) early. I stopped my period on the day(11/5) I normally would've started it.

My husband figured it would be ok for us to have sex once I finished my period. So we did. A few times.

Then I forgot to start my pills. (yes, I know. Pills aren't for me.)I was supposed to start taking them on Sun., instead I doubled up on Tues. and today.

I'm really worried about the time we had unprotected sex. I've been cramping. Slightly. But I don't even usually cramp when my period comes. And that's the main thing that told me I was pregnant the first time.

What do you think?

Normally women don't ovulate untill 14 days after the first day of your last period. I'm sure your Ok, but test if you are really worried. If you ever look up natural family planning methods it shows you can't get pregnant the first few days after you end your period. Of course nothing is 100% and like I said if your worried take a test.. I know for me I could never get it off my mind unless I took at test.. Hope all turns our for you...

The only problem with trying to look up things on natural family planning and having websites and books tell you that a woman can't get pregnant a few days after her period is this...not all women are the same. It is still possible because not all women ovulate exactly when the textbooks say they will. Some ovulate midway between the last period and the next, some do so a couple days before their next period. So it is possible that you can get pregnant a few days after the end of your period. Never say never...I would do like ssmiles said and take a test to put your mind at ease. Either a hpt or go for a blood test.

I had a dear friend who was in the middle of changing birth control pills and unexpectedly became pregnant, so I know it can happen. BUT, the chances are very small. Your body may just be reacting to the different hormone levels of the pills. Either way I hope things work out the way you want them to. You never know....it might work out better than you've ever dreamed! :)

Hi! Thankyou for all of the replies!

Since then I have stopped cramping. So I'm just going to wait until it's time for my period to come. And I think it will.

Which is good, since this period I'm supposed to go in to have Mirena inserted. This would've been the time to get pregnant if I were going to... haha

Good luck to you!
