Hello ladies...

I've been hanging around the TTC boards for about 2 months now (new to TTC) and learning lots of great stuff from everyone's posts. I've replied to a few now and again, but this time, I could really use some thoughts/insights from you ladies, please? I'll try and keep this short.

Got off the pill in January
Delayed period until March 1 (short & light, 3 days)
Next period April 4 (short & light, 3 days)

BD evening of April 26th. I got my period (I think) May 11, but it was light and lasted only 1 day. Pretty sure at that point that we were out of the game for the month.

Today is the 14th and I am still having PMS symptoms (sore bb's & headaches mostly, mild mild stomach upset).

Is there any way I could be pregnant or I am having lingering IPS?

????

The pill can wreak havoc on our systems for up to 6 months or more.

Yup, that's what my doc's been telling me. I'm pretty sure it's the BCP playing tricks on me too.

Thanks for your insights : )

Cindy,

Can I ask you another question related to this topic? Have you ever had lingering PMS symptoms post-period?

I got my period May 11th (it lasted all of one day, over by that night) But it's been quite a few days now and still breast soreness and some heartburn-like symptoms (never had this before). I mean, I know I am not preggers, I took a test this morning just to be sure since things are so crazy with my body and I've been so clueless about what is happening. Well no big surprise, BFN.

Boy, getting off the BCP really seems to have thrown me for a loop.

Anything like that ever happen to you or anyone else you know of?

Melissa
