Hi, Yes it does affect the fetus, u can look on the package that came with the b/c package. I hate to scare u but my g/f worked with a grl that was on the pill and gotten preg. and she ended up having an abortion because it was missing half a foot and an arm--i know its scary.
I got pregnant by missing 5 days of the pill. Me and my H got into a arguement and i moved to my g/f and lost it, but found it 5 days later but something told me not to start it again and thank god i didnt... due june 27th :) I would stop the pills, use protection and get tested, i wouldnt risk it.
I took a home test and it came out negative but it said that taking the pill should not affect test results . I am so confused now ... should i stop and go to the doctor? and get his diagnois ? help please
Hi, How long have u been on the pill? If u had just started taking the pill like a month ago, it could be the pills making u feel sick. Are u due for ur period around now? The pills shouldnt affect ur cycle, (as far as i know-u could also call ur dr. and ask).
If u stopped now and got a dr. appt, it would be about a week before u got in. If i were u i would stop, use alternate protection, and if ur period came between now and the dr. appt, then i would cancel the appt. and start a new pack of pills. I've done that before, and my period came 2 days before the appt date so i just cancelled it, and started a new pack of pills.
I was on the pill when I got pregnant with my oldest, and he had no ill effects from me being on the pill when I conceived him.As well...my Mother got pregnant with me while on the pill and I turned out just fine.I'd make a call to your Dr. though just to put your mind at ease and maybe go in for a blood test, which would be more accurate.
You don't say how long you've been taking the pill, but if you've just started taking it recently, your body may be reacting towards it in the way you mention. If this is a new symptom and you've been on the pill for a while(3 months or more),again,a call to the Dr. might give you some answers.
I have been on the pill for over a year now at first I used to get nauseated if i didnt eat with it but now I am fine . I have felt less nauseas yesterday and today so I think I will try and make a drs apt this week and see how it goes .
