Hello again everyone :) I've been lurkn........not so patiently trying to get through my 2WW!! lol Well, the day has come...........and no AF yet :) (toes r crossed! lol)
So, today, just for the heck of it really, I took both an HPT and an OPK test.......
The HPT is barely there, but the OPK is positive........so my ? is, I know the differences in the test, but why the difference in the result? I O'd around 15th-17th, so I know that's not the reasoning.

Just hoping all of you can shed some light on this, cuz between this, the nightmares I've been havn (beat up my SO last night in my sleep :(lol) hehe and the cramping, headaches, and middle of the night tummy upsets just aren't adding up.

Thanx everyone in advance............baby dust, sticky dust, and here's to our BFP dreams comn true!! :)

If you got a + OPK and the faint HPT you are PG. OPK's detect the LH suge but they also detect HSG. It cannot tell the difference between them. HPT's only can detect HSG. I tested with one to see when I got PG, and it did show a positve OPK. You are just probably so early it is not really showing up on the HPT. Hold your pee for at least 3-4 hrs (good luck) and try again. I am sure you will probably get the +.

Congrats!

I have also read the same thing. You can use OPK tests as pregnancy tests. If you know you ovulated already..then you probably are pg! How exciting. Let us know what happens.

BTW I took another OPK this morning with my HPT..........HPT is still very faint, but OPK got lighter?!?! **shruggs shoulders** Shouldn't the OPK have stayed the same? Never really used them too much b4 in conjunction with an HPT so I don't really understand how they work with detecting pregnancy b4 an HPT will become definetly positive.
Any suggestions? :)

Baby Dust to all!

Hey everyone :) Just a lil update from me..............
I took a Clearblue Digital this morning, and got a BFN. So, I guess my darlin' AF is just late, leaving me with nothing to do but wait I suppose. But, admist my dispair and let down this morning, I talk with SO and he said he's been thinking about our "see what happens" method to our relationship............he's decided to actually start trying with me!!!! He says that this is something that he really wants, and wants to really put our hearts into it! (lucky me ;) lol) So I suppose that it's true that when one door closes, someone opens a window ;) Thanx again ladies for all of your help, and I'm sure I'll be asking for your assistance in the months to come! lol :) Baby dust~
