Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has had the dye test done on their tubs to see if that had any block in their tubs. If you can you please tell me what they did. The Dr. today was talking about me doing this test and I just wanted to know what it was like.
Thanks

Hello,
If you are talking about the HSG procedure, I had it done in early March, and now I am
due to have our second child in early December. It really works. I will tell you what they did, and just let you know that I would do it again in a heartbeat. You lay at the edge of the table, and the technician inserts a catheter into your uterus. It is a little painful, just feels like a major cramp, but it only lasts a few minutes. After they insert the catheter they insert the dye. Then they move you back onto the table where your legs are laying flat and they bring an xray machine over you. They then take some pictures and then take the catheter out. And that is it. The technician told me that this would be a good time to try and get pregnant, because the dye cleans out your tubes. I believe this really works because I took an ovulation test, and on day 13 I ovulated, which I was usually ovulating on day 15, 16, 17. This test really helped me, and I highly recommend doing it. A little uncomfortable, but totaly worth it. Good luck.
