Here's my story. I've been trying for a year to get pregnant with #2. My cycle is around 31 days, never 28 or earlier. Last month I had all the signs of ovualtion. I don't chart my temps but I watch my cm and I do get pains when I ovulate. According to these signs I was ovulating around the 14th of Oct. My af came the 21st. That means my cycle was only 26 days long this month. Way un-normal for me. Usually, before my af, my breast start hurting but this time I had nothing. I didn't even cramp during my af. But I did have bleeding and this was too much bleeding to call spotting. It lasted 3 days. Usually, my af can last 4-5 days. But the wierd thing is the day after my af, Saturday, my breast started being tender (like how they normally feel before my af). They have kept being tender. I don't think I'm pregant but I'm just wondering if anyone has a thought what is happing? Thank you for your help, Michelle

I don't know for sure, it was 7dpo so normally I would say maybe it was implantation, but you sound pretty sure that it was too heavy for anything but a true AF. I guess you can wait and see what happens. We can have off cycles every once in awhile, maybe this was one of them for you.

Ok, you mentioned how you always feel pain when you ovulate. ok I do too. However the key here is to check if you have cysts on your ovaries. Cysts can make it painful when you ovulate and can also cause you period to arrive early. Definitely go to the doctors and take a blood test. If that comes up neg., then for safety measures, I would suggest an ultrasound to check for cysts or anything else that could cause your period to be late.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the thought but I don't have cysts. I've been checked out this past summer and nothing was wrong. Michelle

angelbaby231979,

I have felt my ovulation since I first got my period at the age of 14 (I am now 30). Every month like clock work. Never did I have a cyst until last year AND never felt ANY pain from it OR did my period arrive early. Was regular as I had always been. Don't think this issue has anything to do with a cyst.
