Evap line or actual line???

I took a HPT (strip) this morning. I took a shower immediately after I took it, and when I got out, there were two lines. Now it was about 10 mins. The second line was so faint that I had to squint and tilt it to the light. It kinda looked like an evaporation line, but with a touch of pink. I couldn't tell. I got DH to look at it, and he said he seen only one line at first, but then he squinted and looked closer and seen both lines. He thought the second line had more red than pink. Now then, I pulled the test from the other day out of the trash and compared lines, and the old one was definitely an evap line...kinda white-translucent. This line was entirely different. But, like I said, it's really freaking hard to see. What do you think about that? Could it be an evap line after only 8 to 10 mins?? The test packet said that results are visible within 5 to 10 mins. So, they should still be reliable after only 8 to 10, right??

This same sort of thing happened to me Monday morning. I used a FactPlus-the one with the cup you urinate into then use the dropper and add a few drops of your urine to the cartridge (where you'd eventually see the lines at). It specifically says on the instructions for this test to view it at 5 minutes, and that after 10 minutes you may see what they called a "ghost line" or evaporation line. I'm positive I saw this really faint pink line at 5 minutes. I even called my bf in to check too, and he said he also saw it. So, then I called the company and asked them about it and they said a line is a line and if I saw it before 10 minutes, to call it positive. Well, and the fact that it had color (pink). So now I'm waiting till friday to check again. good luck!!!
