Hi ladies,

I was wondering about the effects of exercise while you are TTC. I think my walking is okay, but correct me if I am wrong. I walk for an hour 4 days a week. My main concern is the machines i use in gym. Here are the machines Leg extension, leg press, ab machine, shoulder press, chest press, leg curl. on all hte legs I put the weight at #5 and on all the arm its on #3. I have been doing them sense Feb., so its not a new rutine but I dont want to mess up. Pleas tell me if there are any i should avoid while TTC. Oh and is there a certain calorie amount you should have a day while TTC or should I just eat like I do now and not change? I have been doing Weight Watchers, so I am eating balanced but not sure if the cals are hi enough.

For everyone it is different..Sometimes too much exercise can actually stop you from having a period which in turn can stop you from ovulating..But i dont think u are having that problem..I think since you have been doing this since Feb. you should be okay. Overall doublecheck with your doctor just to make sure.. Your cardio isnt intense so nothing to worry about there..I think you should be fine..Keep up the healthy workouts i would say..

Hi! none of those things will affect TTC ! I asked my doctor a few months ago!

Hello, about 3 or 4 months ago I started curves for women and they have machines that work just about every part of your body. I talked to my OB and she said they were all fine except after you are pregnant, into the 2nd trimester you probably oughtta start thinking about not doing ab stuff. Also not to start anything new after you get pg. Good luck.
