Just as an FYI. I had a faint, faint line on a HPT on Saturday morning (and had all the classic symptoms)... I was convinced that I was pregnant. So, about chemical pregnancies, I think this is the case. I tested again on Sunday and Tuesday and got a negative result. Guess who showed up today??? AF. The symptoms actually started to go away on Sunday morning (actually, I went from feeling nauseated, very sore bb's, higher temp., etc, to nothing... it was very bizarre, I felt different). Anyway, for people who wonder about the faint, faint lines, don't get too excited like I did until you see a strong line or a doctor. Saturday when I tested and got the faint, faint line, I was 12dpo, so maybe this is a stronger case for WAITING until you're supposed to get AF to take a test... if I could do it over, I wouldn't have tested until Monday and then I never would have known that there was a faint positive.

Maybe next time... good luck to all and baby dust and STICKINESS to all!

That sounds a little fishy! You had PG symptoms.... a faint ++ line.... then symptoms gone and -- line, I would go and get a hgc test done if not to late, might be early m/c. But I am no dr. just my thought on it.

Yes, that is what she meant by chemical pregnancy. Its a very early miscarriage. It starts off but can't really get going for one reason or another. The ovum might have been flawed or another reason is low progesterone. Sorry to hear your news. I just got my blood result back and my level is only 10. Either impending miscarriage or VERY early pregnancy. I'll find out on monday.

Thanks for your response... I wish you luck and hope that you have a happy and healthy nine months. Thanks for the info. about the chemical pregnancy. I never had any major cramping or bleeding, so I'm not comfortable calling it a miscarriage, but I guess that is what it would be (just very, very early). Thanks again and best of luck to you... especially stickiness!!
