Hi! First time here. I am 37 and have not used any birth control for almost ten years. I really thought I would need medical intervention to get pg. I have an extremely regular 28 day cycle. I was due for AF August 2nd. I had cramping, spotting, and bloating two days prior, then nothing! On monday (the fourth) I took the ept and got BFP. I feel fine. I'm not tired, cranky, or nauseous. My BB's are still swollen, and I have a little more clear discharge than usual, but nothing like what I am reading here from others. Could this all just be a big mistake? the second line was VERY DARK. Any help you wonderful women could send my way would be appreciated. From what I've been reading, you are all pro's at this!

Thanks!

take a deep breath. now relax.... Plenty of people become pregnant and have absolutly NO symptoms, no Morning sicknes, no cramps, no sore breasts, no NOTHING and they carry Full term Healty babies. You can have EVERY symptom or NO symptoms and anywhere inbetween and have a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby when its all done. just relax!

And have a good day

I am taking another HPT today. Quick question. When you all say things about your temperature being up, do you mean regular oral temp?

If you got a Pos HPT you should be able to get a pos blood test, I would call your doctors and let them know you got a pos test.

As for the temprature. If you are charting your basle body temprature, then you would see what they mean. With charting, you take your temp every morning (at the same time) right when you wake up, before doing anything else (I have an alarm on my nightstand as well as my thermomater, the alarm goes off at 5:30, I take my temp and go back to bed) You will see a pattern of low temps (mine range from 96.9 to 97.4) before Ovulation, and once your Ovulate your temps rise (mine are from 97.7 to about 98.3 normally) they stay elevated durring your LP. for most people they will drop the day or so before AF shows. that is probably when they are saying that thier temp is still up. Im sure that probably more info than you ever wanted. I have been charting for over a year now. Charting will help you know where you are in your cycle (expecially if they are irratic, like mine) and if your regular it will help you to know when you are firtle and when you are not. For me, I know where I am in my cycle, which means if I am on cd 34, and AF is not here, I will KNOW weather I am late, or if I just ovulated late, OR if I havnt even ovulated yet (which has been the case before). Im not sitting there thinking Im late, and getting excited about being pg, cause I will know that, I havnt ovulated or that I did late. OR I will know that I am infact late, you get the picture. Im gonna stop rambling now.

Call your doc for a blood test.

Aubrey

Thank you so much for your reply. Since I don't normally check my temp, I guess I will just be kept guessing for a few more days!
