My Pregnancy blood test sensitivity was tested at 25 mInternational Units/mL, but came back negative. So, then I asked for a ultrasound, and they replied, there's not a reason to have one and to contact your family doctor. So I looked up and it says 5-25 is dectecting that your pregnant. . How can it say that I'm not pregnant at 25 mIU/ML?  I'm really confused..

I don't blame you for being confused- I'd be confused too! When was your last period? Do you happen to know when you would have conceived?

You definitely need to talk to your doctor. An ultrasound at this point wouldn't show you anything, so I can understand them saying not to have one. They usually want the level to be above 1000 (ideally 2000) so that you can see something.

Usually anything above 5 is positive, but perhaps the are judging it by how far you are in your cycle.

I hope you can get some definite answers. My only guess would be they are saying it's negative (at 25) because you should be about 6-8 weeks pregnant and should have a number higher than that. Hopefully they'll recheck your levels to see if they are higher. If you take a HPT, what does it say?
