Help! What do you think?

This is my first month off the pill. I visited my Dr. last month for my yearly exam and told him that I was going to try to conceive, so he started me on some prenatal vitamens.

My period has always been right on time, even before the pills. It was supposed to be here Wednesday morning. I know that it is only Thursday evening, but I have sworn to be feeling a little nauseated and crampy. Of course I don't know if that is the desire to be pregnant or if maybe I am. My last period was 9/19, and we tried to conceive during when I thought was ovulation (2 weeks after).....

Anyway. I don't know if this is because I just got off the pills or what. I bought a 2 pack of the equate home tests, and it is killing me not to take them. When should I take them? What do you think.

Thanks for any advice you can offer.

When I went off the pill in January, it took 3 months and some Provera to kick start my cycle back into sync. I was just like you, extremely regular before and during my years on the pill. Apparently my body just had to readjust and it took it's time doing so. Not everyone is the same. I would wait until your period is at least 1 week late...35 days since your last period or so before testing. I can tell you from experience that you will waste A LOT of money if you test all of the time. Because I had no idea when I ovulated during those 3 months, I didn't know when to expect a period. So I was testing once a week and it was getting pretty costly. Then after 3 months, I went to see my GYN and she put me on Provera to get my cycle moving again. We're still trying! I hope you have quicker results! Good luck to you and I hope this helps!
