Help, what should I do next?

I've posted this on another board, but still no ideas. I'm hoping that maybe someone can shed a little light on my situation. DH and I started TTC this month the week my period started. (Yeah, I know not a fertile time.) I had my regular 4-day period with no BDing and then on the last day of my period I started feeling pelvic twinges...not menstrual cramping which I know very well and not the mittelschmerz I feel every month on day 14 of my cycle (Oing). Every day since that last day of my period (October 9), I have been having these twinges (for lack of a better descriptive word), however DH and I are still BDing. The twinges may alternate sides or they may be felt on both sides at once, but it is definitely a feeling I've never felt before. The only other symptom I've had is one or two passing episodes of nausea. Had a pelvic exam the week after period and GYN said I look and feel normal and to take HPT in a week. Also, he said if discomfort persists, come back. I took a HPT a week later and got a BFN, but I'm thinking no wonder since AF isn't due until Nov. 2. Also, the twinges are still off and on all day, but nowhere near the discomfort level of menstrual cramps! What should I do next? Could I be pregnant? Thanks in adavance!

This may influence your opinion...

I've been off birth control for about a year. At the time I discontinued BCP, DH and I thought we would start trying then, but I decided I wanted to wait a little longer. I didn't go back on BCP just in case I changed my mind at any given moment. Up until earlier this month, we'd been using protection. The only things I've been taking the last few months are a multivitamin and a folic acid a day. I'm so nervous.

Hmm...well you did answer my 1st question and that was if you were on bcp and how long had you been off them :)

It certainly sounds like they could be pg symptoms, but your dr is probably right, since AF isn't due until the 4th of november, you're probably better off waiting a week and then testing. Give your body time to build up the hcg if you are pg...

Good luck! I hope you get your BFP soon!!! :)
