Hi Everyone,

Just want to see what you all think about this.. I am on a low dose birth control. I take it every morn at 7:30am, except weekends - usually more around 11am. During the first week and third week of my cycle I forgot to take the pill and doubled up the next morning.

If I did ovulate, it was around 9/9. The first day of my last period was 8/26. I'm due to begin on 9/23.

Here's the thing. Yesterday I woke up and felt horrible. So exhausted, diarrhea all day and into this morning, gassy, nauseous, little achey in the low back abdomin. BBs are fine - they are very small and they usually don't ever get sore. I also am extremely emotional and to top it all off I had a dream last sat night that I was pregnant! I threw up a bit last night - first time in almost 6 years. I never throw up. I have also felt dizzy for a couple days now.

Do you think I could be pregnant, or is it just something that I ate? :) Also, is it to early to take a test, or should I just wait it out til Tues to see if I start my period? I am not married, but I am in a serious relationship where we plan to get married - right now we live together. At first I freaked out at the thought of being pregnant, but now I welcome it. There is a reason for everything.

Any thoughts would be great!

Oh yeah, sorry for the TMI. :) I'm new, and don't know all the lingo yet. Take care!

I would take a test. If you do, use the First response Early. You can take it 4 days before your AF. But I would use first morning urine, just because you want the highest amount of hcg that you can.

Hello! Some info for ya. It takes 7-10 days from the day you make love, for the egg to implant onto the wall of your uterus. So, anywhere from the 16th to the 19th you might begin to feel symtoms. The day of implantation for my pregnancies, I have SEVERE diarea. Good luck! God Bless!

hi my name is lorna and i have 2 children the youngest being only 12 weeks old so i might be able to help.

I know when i fell pregnant with my last i was on a low dose pill and i had the swollewvn belly and the back ache but the only way to tell is to do a test but wait untill u are due your period then the test has a better chance of giving u a correct answer.

I did 3 tests because i didnt believe i was lol,and that was done 5 days after i was due and obviously they all came up positive, the best test to do is the clear blue test but do the digital one as it is a clearer indication if u are or aren't.The normal ones can be kind of confusing as if u do the test early then it comes up very faint as mine did.

Also i had tummy cramps in my early early pregnancy, not long after i found out i was.

If i have been of any help thats great if u need to talk about it i am useually on the boards :- mums due july to sept 2003

Take care and i hope u get ur answer soon

Dear Mother-to-be,

I just found out last night that i'm pregnant and I was haveing all those systoms. Just go get a over the counter test and relieve your questions. I personally think that you are going to have a baby, but I'm not an expert.

good luck,

When I got pregnant in January of this year, DH and I were trying, so I was paying very close attention to my body and any potential symptoms. I was exhausted and sick within about 10 days of conception, six days before my period was due. I do think it is possible that your body is already reacting to the baby inside of it. Until you know for sure, please make sure you take a multivitamin with folic acid (at least 400 mcg, which most women's multivitamins have as a standard) and iron (for your own sake as your body starts producing extra blood and such for the baby). The most critical part of a baby's development is the first trimester, and a lot of neurological "groundwork" is laid in the earliest days of prenatal life. Even if this baby is not planned, I'm sure you will want to do whatever you can to help ensure that it is healthy. Any pharmacist can advise you on a good brand. I myself take OneSource Prenatal. It's available at Wal-Mart or other pharmacies, designed for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers and for women who want to improve their nutritional status when trying to conceive or thinking they may already have. It's never too early to give your baby a healthy start.

I used several pregnancy test brands in my efforts to determine if I was pregnant. My cycle length can fluctuate a few days, so I chose a test known to be very sensitive to even low levels of pregnancy hormones -- First Response. It's easy to read and to use. Take good care of yourself and get some rest until you decide it's time to test. (A hint that worked for me -- drink all the water you can stand. Your body needs extra fluids when you are first pregnant, and dehydration can cause fatigue and nausea.) Good luck to you! Let us know how it turns out.

I would take a test. When you can test really depends on the person. Personally I would say you probably are pregnant, but who knows until you find out for sure.

I am glad you have accepted it though, I was in your same situation once. Things do happen for a reason, and if you are pregnant and need to talk, email me I would be happy to give any advise I may have. Good luck.
