Hello Board!
My man and I had tried for a baby almost a year ago, and nothing happened. We must have tried about 10 or 11 times! We've always looked at it, as if it happens, it happens. We use condoms whenever it calls for that extra something (with all those different types of condoms nowadays..). Don't get me wrong, we have the means to support a child. Now, my period has always been irregular, same with both of my sisters, so that is nothing new for me. I've been to the OBGYN for the irregular periods, but she just prescribed me to the pill, which I don't take, and have not taken for almost 3 years now. I have never actually gotten myself checked out about infertility, but the signs I have, I am assuming infertile is what I am.
My periods usually comes within 2, sometimes 3, months. It is never a monthly thing for me. A couple weeks ago, about a week or so after the last time we "tried", which was also about the same week my period was ending/ended, I was spotting, like a red/pink/brownish color, it lasted for 1 day, then kind of slowly went away on the next day. I took a pregnancy test yesterday, but it was negative. My last period was around the mid-end of last month, so I might retest soon, just incase. Since the spotting, I've been getting these dull, aching, kind of sharp (I am sorry, it is just hard to explain) pains in my lower abdomen area that seem to feel as if there is pulsing going on, and continues throughout my upper right thigh. Yet for some reason it usually happens around the time I start to get ready for bed. Also, my lower abdomen area (like right around where my uterus would be) aches if I angle my torso a certain way to the side or twisting, which I've never had that problem before. I can tell my body is slowly starting to put on weight, but that might have other reasons behind that, as well. I get headaches everyday, no signs of pregnancy with my breast, except for the feel (they feel more fatty, like, soft and cushy than usual). I've felt nauseous since the last time we "tried", a few times, but nothing that seemed too unlikey. When I cough or flex my tummy, my lower abdomen area kind of aches.
Seeing as how I've not become pregnant, probably a total of 30 times we've "tried", I am obviously not one to get pregnant.. atleast that easy. I am wondering if these are signs of infertility or a possible pregnancy.. Basically, Bad News or Great News. If anyone could comment, I would be much obliged.
Sincerely,
V
