Hi there!

Did you test this morning? If so, what was your result? I can certainly understand being disappointed if you aren't pregnant- even if you weren't planning! I've always been one to get super excited with the thought of a new baby. :)

I think you have a great plan of going in to get a blood test should your HPT be negative again. It could be possible that the missed pill/late start could have mixed up your cycle a bit. Then again, I'm sure you also know that you can get pregnant if you miss a pill. Were you stressed at all in the last month? How about sick? Both things can cause upset to your cycle as well.

Best of luck to you and please keep us posted!

I'm so glad they are going to get you in for a blood test. I'm sure it will be a relief to know one way or the other. Please keep us posted and let us know what you find out on Friday!

Thanks so much for posting an update. I can totally understand being disappointed over the results. It would be super hard not to have the answers you are looking for. I hope that the doctor will be able to give a few answers next week. Take care and I hope to see you back here soon!

I feel silly being back so soon!

After getting news that my blood test was negative, I made an appointment to see my gynecologist.

It's hard to say how likely it would be to get a positive because it can vary so much from person to person. If your period is late, you should be able to test and the chances are high that the result will be accurate. That is of course based on not ovulating late or having a slower than normal implantation time. Good luck!
