I am on CD13 and have EWCM. I have had EWCM on CD9-11 and Watery CD12 then again EWCM on day 13. i did take robutussin on CD 9-11. On CD 12 was very sick with a migraine. This just seems like a long time for my CM to stay fertile. Today I feel dizzy and extremely tired. We have BD'd days 9-12. Are my feelings pg, ovulation but no temp rise? Actually my temp was a litter higher on day 9 but too soon for ovulation (27 Cd). Why is my CM still like this? I hope any of you can try to understand all the ?'s I may be thinking but not jotting down, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

When you are describing the ewcm are you talking slippery cm or are you talking cm that is stretchy and looks just like and feels like an egg white would look and feel.

If it is just wet and slippery that is not your fetile cm it has to be slippery and stretchy when I mean stretchy I mean you can put it on your finger touch it with your other finger and it actully stretches.

Okay, I am trying to make sense of this! LOL! Have you had a temp rise that shows O at all? It sounds like you are having the fertile CM, but what about the position of your cervix right now? As for the CM....I am still having creamy CM and am 9 weeks pg today. I usually had the EWCM for a couple of days and was 'fertile' for about 4. You can have fertile CM without it being the consistency of egg whites if that makes sense. It just has to be a consistency for sperm to survive. (not tacky or sticky) But watery is considered fertile. Is TCOYF not helping answer your questions? Let me know if I can help anymore.

When you have no significant temperature spike, and several more days of EWCM, it may mean you are having an anovulatory cycle. (This happened to me A LOT when I was nursing, where I would have several days of EWCM in a row.) It means your estrogen levels are trying hard to get to the level needed to drop that blasted egg, but they're just not quite getting there. There is a section in TCOYF about this. Unfortunately, I lent my copy out and never got it back, I can't give you a page number.

I've heard suggestions of attempting to surge your estrogen levels by using soy products. It worked for a friend of mine, but never did the trick for me.

I hope this gives you another perspective and something to check into.

Good luck.
