How soon for "missed" period, if preg?

Last week I had unprotected intercourse with my bf. This is the 1st time we ever had sex together (1st time for him to have any type of sex and last time for me, was about 4-5 years ago, but always with protected sex with the last guy). He “withdrew” before he ejaculated (but I know it is possible to get pregnant with pre-ejaculation). I had my last period about 2 weeks ago so sometime next week should be my period. Approximately when or how soon will a woman “miss” her period, which is one of the signs of pregnancy, after having unprotected intercourse? Like can I have my period next week, but 3 weeks later miss my period?

Going back before the above situation – the past 2 months my periods have been strange. In October I went on a trip and had my period within the usually timeframe (since I was 13 and now close to 30 years old, after 3 weeks from my last period, I usually get my period again about 2 – 4 days after the 3 week timeframe). However, after having my period during my trip, only 2 WEEKS later, I had my period again – very, very weird for me – never happened before, especially so soon. After having that period in early November, the next period I had was in December, but over 4 weeks later. So with my irregular periods lately, I’m not sure what to make of the typical signs of pregnancy.

Also, one website stated that bloating can be a possible sign of pregnancy, especially soon after having intercourse? Is this true? I ask because I “feel” bloated lately, but on the other hand, I’ve been feeling this way over the past month due to eating more than normal during the holidays.

So I’m pretty worried (obviously) if I’m pregnant or not. ANY advice would be great!

its hard to say if you ovulated during that week since you say the last few months your cycles have been off. if you did ovulate that week then it could be possible to get pregnant. the only thing to do is wait for af and if you dont get it when you should then take a hpt. if you get a negative result then i would go to the doc to find out why your cycles have been messed up. hope that helps some.

AF stands for "Aunt Flow" meaning your period

when you finally find out you are preganant, do women generally feel extermely bloated after the 1st week of intercourse? i don't know if it's a psychological thing right now, but i noticed i gained 8 pounds in the past month (dunno if it's all the extra food i'm eating for the holidays or if it's a pregnancy thing). sorry for the dumb questions - just freaking out...
