hpt lines still light/beta hcg worry

hi everyone,
my cycles typically run 28-30 days and sometimes vary as well. i think i o'd around the 3rd or 4th of august and if i went by the thirty day rule then my period isn't due until tomorrow. on monday i took a first response hpt and got a faint line, tuesday i tested again (i am obsessed) and the line was still faint. i called my doctor and went in on tuesday at lunch and had them run a beta qualitative hcg. i picked up the results a few hours later and it showed i had a beta of 34. i took another hpt this morning (i am crazy) and the line was still faint. (i was pregnant awhile back and had a m/c and had worried that my numbers won't double). i am having another beta tomorrow but i just can't seem to shake this bad feeling that it will be another m/c. if anything i can rest assured that i have supported the first response company. i keep thinking that oh, what if this should have been a 28 day cycle and the worst scenario...
ok, i am babbling. sorry and thanks for any help.

i appreciate you posting me back. i had the same thing happen to me that happened to you a few years back before i got pg with my daughter. i am just very nervous and prepared for the worst. i am hoping that because my period isn't due until tomorrow and the first hcg was on tuesday that i have some sort of hope.
this ttc#2 isn't as easy as i thought...thanks so much for your imput and i will post my numbers tomorrow.
hugs,
kellli
