I am so redundant, I know

I am being a bit impractical about exquisite timing. I am a teacher and would love to finish the next school year off with maternity leave. With DD (7-2-01) I had to go back to teaching when she was not quite 6 weeks old---THAT was a killer. We start back next week, its very hard leaving a 2 year old, too (: . I mention this because you would think I could remember all the twinges and feelings, but I don't think I was so in tune with every little thing before.
I am also turning 33 in Sept.DH is 29. This concerns me, too. I had a younger brother who passed away of a genetic disorder. Though his condition (Trisomy 18) is not considered to run a high heriditary rate, I know risks inrease at 35.
Thanks to all of you for letting me just go on and on.
Take Care and Good Luck

Thanks for letting

I'm a teacher, too. So I know how you feel about wanting the timing to be right. (I teach pre-school, though, at a PDO program. If my baby were to be the right age, I could take the baby with me.) I thought I was pregnant last month: nausea, fatigue, food aversion, and yes a late af. It wasn't so.
I can't give you any advice, but I can commisserate. I hope it is your month. I'm pretty sure this won't be my month. I think I o'ed, and dh was just "too tired" to bd. So I'm giving it one more month, then we're waiting for next year.
Well, I'm spreading baby dust to you. Good luck.
