AF was due on Tuesday 8/8. She's still not here, and I'm having some mild cramping. Took another HPT this morning and got another BFN!! I'm now 2 days late and I'm freaking out. Last year I had to have a D&C for a polyp after having issues (AF didn't come for a couple months, then a couple months of nonstop AF) I told DH if I have to go thru all that again I am done trying...I'll never adopt (I just wouldn't be able to look at the kid the same way I would my own - adoption is a wonderful thing, just not for me) so I don't know what to do. I'm stressing out here. There wasn't even a hint of a line this morning when I took the test (with FMU), so I'm 99% sure that I'm not pregnant. Oh well, the Dr. said to call her if I go 45 days without AF, so hopefully she'll come before that time or i'll get a BFP (not holding out much hope for that anymore) I dunno, I'm just getting sick of the whole baby thing. I know so many people who get pregnant by accident, and aren't thrilled when they become pregnant, but because I want it it seems to be eluding me. I'm sorry for babbling on and on, I'm just so frustrated right now. If I'm not pregnant, I would like to get AF so at least we can try again. I don't know how much more of this I can take. Sorry, just really bummed about the BFN I got today. :O(

Hi there... I'm sooo sorry you got a BFN today. I know how disappointing seeing (or rather NOT seeing) that can be. I hope you do get your BFP soon, or at least AF so you can start trying again. Don't give up hope yet! From what I've been reading it seems like a lot of women don't get pg right away. And they're frustrated at the scores of women who get pg by accident. It's a natural feeling. Trust me, I've felt that way alot of times too. Even though DH and I aren't trying quite yet, it still sucks to hear that someone who either 1) doesn't even want kinds or 2) wasn't even trying is going to be having a baby.

How long have you been trying? (just being nosey) Hopefully either this month or next one will be your lucky one! Good luck and definitely keep us posted on how you're doing.

Sorry about the BFP. I understand what you mean about the accidental pregnancies. I understand so much so, that I've seen my 22 year old cousin have three abortions (her 3rd today, actually). Don't be discouraged and don't give up hope. These things do take time. I'm not even married, so I guess I really shouldn't be thinking about having a baby, but the desire is there. Anyway, I just read your post and it broke my heart. If it makes you feel any better, I've read that lots of people just can't test positive on HPT's. Maybe this is your case. Truth is you won't know until either a positive or negative is confirmed by a doctor. Try not to be so hard on yourself.

Many hugs, kisses, and warm wishes from me to you.

Nia,

Thank you so much for the support. You don't need to be married to have a baby, don't beat yourself up over something people are too harsh about. It's just heartbreaking to hear about people who have abortions and even those who have their babies but didn't really want them when I want one so bad and can't seem to have one. I hope you get your BFP soon. Thanks so much for the kind words.
