I take birth control pills-and NEVER miss a pill.

First off, there are no stupid questions here. Ask any question that you have, that's what the board is for! And next, although it is possible to get PG while on the pill (though very rare), I would think that it would be WAY too early for you to be getting any PG symptoms. Although every woman is different, ovulation typically occurs somewhere close-ish to the middle of your cycle. Unless you have very, very short cycles, I wouldn't think you would be getting any symptoms yet. The only way to know exactly when you O (ovulate) would be to chart your temps and/or CM (cervical mucus) or to use OPK's (ovulation predictor kits). What you are experiencing may actually be related to O'ing. When you O, the hormones in your body change and increase, which can cause strange symptoms, even if you've never gotten them before. Oh, and once you do O, if the egg is fertilized, it generally takes 7-10 days for the egg to implant in the uterus. It is at this point that hCG is produced, which is what the HPT's (home pregnancy tests) detect. Typically, if you are PG, the levels of hCG are not high enough to detect until about the time of your expected period (AF). Again, it would depend on how long your cycle generally is, but I would say that it way, way too early to test. But if it were me in this situation, I really wouldn't worry that much about being PG.

At this point, the only way that you would probably be able to find out if you are PG would be if you were actually in your second month of PG. If you think that may be the case, you could probably go ahead and test. But it may be best to just wait until your expected AF. And I really wouldn't worry that much about it at this point. My last cycle, around the time I think I O'ed (I wasn't charting at the time), my boobs were really sore, I was slightly queasy, and very tired (although that may be from other factors). But, alas, I was not PG. It was just my body playing tricks on me.

I really hope that my long ramble above has helped. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask them. That is what everyone here has come for: to ask and answer questions, without the need to think them silly or stupid.

Good luck!

I had similar side effects caused by my pill.
