I just want to know

Ok, so my guy and I are always really good about using condoms until the other night. I don't know why it just happened. Anyway so of course now I am wondering if I could get pregnant. I went on ivillage and tried to get some info on tracking your cycle and stuff like that. I never have put much thought into it before. I saw the place where you put in your first day of your last period and it gives you an estimated ovulation time and estimated due date if in fact you are pregnant. So, I did this and it said that I should have started ovulating on 2/19. We had our oops night on 2/22. Am I at a greater risk because of this timing? I am just really confused as to how all of this works. I know that it's pretty much a waiting game now but it's so hard to just sit and wonder. Any info anyone has would be appreciated. We have always done condoms because I have heard so may bad things about various kinds of birth control and I didn't want to go that route. If anyone has input on what works well for them, that would be great too. If this turns out to be nothing, I will consider changing my birth control method to something that I don't have to worry as much about.
Thanks So Much!

sperm can live inside you for about 5 days in the right conditions so you could still be at risk. if you want to learn more about tracking your cycles and charting there is a great book called taking charge of your fertility. it has helped me quite a bit but im still learning how to read my body so i too had an oopsie this month and have one more week before i will know if im pregnant. my temp dipped today so it could either be from being cold out lately, not sleeping well, or it is the right time for a fetus to implant in the uterus. im actually hoping to be pregnant though. you will have plenty of women here waiting in the same time frame as us so we are not alone.
