I have been waiting to go to the dr. to check to see if I might be pregnant. I have had just about all of the early pregnancy symptoms a couple of months ago. I experienced some spotting and light bleeding the first week of april for two days and then had some very unexpected extreme cramps two days later. I have been diagnosed with PCOS and normally had irregular periods. For approximately one year my cycle was regular and then all of a sudden stopped and I begin experiencing the symptoms. I have now started to feel twitches in my stomach that are not in the same place along with mild shooting pains going through my stomach. I do feel pains where my ovaries are (which is something that I have just started to experience although I was diagnosed 10 years ago) I have had a blood test done a couple of days ago and it came back negative. I am not sure what is going on, could I still be pregnant??

Hello,

I do not think you are pregnant because of the negative blood test. I hope your doctor can figure out what is going on.

GOOD LUCK!

You know, i would say that you are, with all the early pregnancy symptoms your experiencing and all, I remember most fo those right before I found out i was pregnant. But, I do have to say that if you had a blood test done and it came back negative, then your probably not pregnant. Blood tests are a 100% sure thing, but if you still feel like you are then I suggest simply going to the drug store and getting a home pregnancy test and see for yourself. Depending on how late you are, the test shuld be able to pick it up with no problem. When i took my first test, it automatically came up positive, and I didn't believe it,even though the truth was right in front of my face, so I took another one the very next day, and sure enough it was positive too! i wish you all the well in your journey in finding out.

With the symptoms I was sure that I was. We aren't ttc but, if it happens it happens we will be happy either way. But, my only concern is that I have all of a sudden started to have the urge to continuously go to the bathroom. I can go every hour and a half, and I have never had to do that. I have never been one to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and have been doing that for the past two weeks. I keep getting this feeling that I have gas or am hungry(when I have just ate right before). Nothing comes out (tmi sorry) and it continuously moves. I then sometimes feel like a thumping sensation at times, especially when I am relaxing to go to sleep. I have been experiencing some sharp abdominal pains on my sides and cramping every month around the time my period should come on but nothing. I don't know what to do.

Well, the getting up to go to the bathroom frequently is a common early pregnancy sign. I was bothered by that the entire first trimester, now that I'm in my second, it's lessened some. The thumping and twitching your feeling is common too, if you know your body. That is simply your uterus starting to stretch and grow. Now, I had some abdominal pains, especially in the lower part of my belly, and that's all due to your body stretching and growing also. And the endless hunger, oh yes, I remember early on when I would eat dinner, and fifteen minutes later I'd be snacking on something else. My husband couldn't believe how I could eat like that, but I don't eat as much like that now, but when I do eat, I can eat! Now gas with me was a big problem early on too, i constantly had gas rolling around in my belly, but it went away after a few weeks. You won't feel the baby moving yet, it's too early, depending on how far along you are. But I just started feeling real kicks just the other day, but have been feeling him roll around for about a week now. It's so cool when you can actually feel them moving. I have two other kids, both girls, and with my second you kinda know what to look for as far as how everything feels, and when the baby is moving, and it's not gas. I'm only 16 weeks, and I've been feeling him move around for atleast a week now, I guess you just get better intuned with each baby that you have. Well, I better run, have grocery shopping to do, keep me posted on what happens!
