Ok, I have been trying to research but I have come up confused. I have one thing that was worrying me then another so I am stuck. Ok the story is, I had sex on wednesday with my bf, then on Sunday had my period. I am not on birth control. Well now it is 2 weeks later and I have cramps all in my lower abdomen, nothing bad at first just a little uncomfortable. I figured maybe ovulation cramps, I had read about those and this is the time I should be ovulating. Well they haven't stopped yet, again nothing serious just uncomfortable, and in the past week I feel fatter...ok I am not just my pants are a little tighter then before (could be I am just gaining weight). Then yesterday I had this white sticky glob of mucas like thing after I peed. A few years ago I had this happen, it freaked me out but I recently read something about inflammation and white blood cells, or vaginosis or something. Then I read on some other board that a women had then when she conceived. I have been really tired the past week as well. I guess the thing that bothers me the most are the cramps that have lasted several days. My bf and I are trying to conceive but I thought it was very unlikely 4 days before a period. He is at sea right now and I only see him once a month, so I know the improbability of it happening when he is in town. My breast are big so they are tender a lot. They are now but that could be anything. Could I be pregnant or is it just something else? I havent tested yet since my period isnt due for another 8 days or so.

Sigh, I just ate Pho soup for lunch and had to unbotton my pants...and the cramps are so uncomfortable...anyone?

just take a test now to help ease your mind and then wait to see if your period is late and test again.

Hello,

I do not think you are pregnant. Considering the time line and symptoms, it sounds like you are ovulating now. If you are concerned you could always test but to me it doesnt sound like you are pregnant.

Good luck!

I agree with Lisa; it sounds like you're ovulating right now. It's two weeks after your last period and you had fertile CM. That glob you noticed after going to the bathroom is most likely cervical mucus (or fluid), which increases and becomes more like raw egg white as you approach ovulation.

The symptoms you're feeling could be any number of things, and it wouldn't hurt to check with the doc. If you don't usually notice such large amounts of CM, it's possible that your hormones are present in greater numbers this cycle, which isn't unusual at all, and would explain everything else you're feeling. If the pain in your abdomen persists, though, since it's so uncomfortable, check with your doc.
