Just out of curiosity....what is implantation bleeding? Like the color and consistency? Also how long does it last? Thanks any help from you ladies would be awesome!!

I agree with the other pp!BUT at the same time,some women do get AF-like flow(very rare)....then some get that bright red bleeding,ummm I mean bright,not the dark rich color red!Most time that bright red turns brown quickly.


BTW,implantation bleeding has no length(it all depends on how long it takes to implant and the position it implants.)*meaning some might have it 1-2 days,while some have it for 7-10 days*

First off, IB isn't all that common as some women think. If you don't have IB but discover that you are pg, then that is TOTALLY normal. No need to be concerned. IB happens when the fertilized egg implants into the uterine wall. The blood is usually brown (old blood) or light pink, but it should never be bright red & the flow should never be heavy. It's more like spotting. It can last anywhere from a few seconds to a day (although light bleeding for 2 days or more is rare for IB).
