Is it AF or not?

Good Morning Everybody~
I am so confused right now...yesterday around noon I checked my CP and there was blood there...not a whole lot, but like AF was starting, which wouldn't be unusual, as yesterday was CD30 (I'm irregular). As the day went on I started getting serious AF cramps and bloating, but whenever I went to the bathroom, there was nothing on the pad. My flow usually gets going good within a couple of hours, and definitely by that night it's heavy. Well, last night when I went to bed, there was barely anything there when I wipe. I didn't sleep well at all last night from anxiety wondering what was going on (maybe got 4 hours). I got up to go to the bathroom so much last night that my bf even said something to me.
The cramping even tapered off too. This morning, I got up to take a shower and my pantiliner was dry. Of course I had to do a finger check again and this morning there is mostly milky white discharge with a slight hint of pink. I'm kinda crampy right now and a little bloated. I definiety feel like AF should be here, and I'm scared. I've never been a spotter, not ever in 15 years of having AF. She's been extra long, extra heavy, or extra absent, but never scant. My LMP started 8/5 and me and my bf don't use anything. I have no idea if/when I ovulate, so I have no idea about DPO. I don't have any other symptoms and was actually quite surprised to see bleeding when I did, since the past few months have been 35+ days cycles for me. I feel pretty regular, except for a slight upset stomach, which I'm sure is anxiety.
I know the only way to know anything for sure is to take a test, but when should I do that? Assuming this is/was implantation spotting, what's the earliest I could test? What else could it be? Is AF just screwed up this month? I hate that I'm going to be running to the bathroom all day today to see if she's really started...
Please ladies, can you help?

Oh Sweetie... I'm sending you so much love right now.
I think that if I were you I would go ahead and test around your best guess of your AF due date. Sometimes our bodies do weird things--I can completely relate to your situation, but I haven't been exactly there. I know this isn't much help, but...
Try to get a sensitive early test and see if it tells you anything. Your body starts releasing the hormone as soon as implantation begins. some test positive within just a few days of implantation. other women take until days after a missed period. it just varies from person to person.
Crystal,
Thank you for responding. Never mind though. AF showed for real this just a few minutes ago (9/5). Oh well...
