Is it possible? Please help me...

Hi everyone. I am new here.. to be completely honest, never thought I would find myself here. I am in need of some help/advice ... I am unsure at the moment as to whether I am pregnant or if it is even a possibility. I had sex on Sept. 10th (using pull-out method). The very next morning I saw my doctor about morning after pills (just to be safe) and took the first right away, and the 2nd pill 12 hrs. later just as I was directed. About a week or so later(around the 16th)I started my period which I believe was right on track. So I figured this meant that I was fine, no pregnancy. It is now the 20th of October and no sign of my usually every 28 days on-track period. I've been feeling EXTREMELY exhausted, constipated with cramping here and there in my lower stomach, hot-flashes (I'm only 21) constantly, my breasts are tender, and I've been getting dizzy and a little nauseous throughout my day. I have no money at the moment to do an actual pregnancy test (which I know would really help), but can you give me any incite as to if this is even possible, and if so, if my symptoms are telling anything? I would greatly appreciate any replies. Thank you again.

If you read the horribly mean and cruel post that I just did, please flush THAT down the toilet. You did a good thing going to get the morning after pills, which only helps make the uterine lining less hospitable for implantation (they don't kill anything), but it doesn't mean its impossible. I would go to a pregnancy help center, or planned parenthood, and they will do a urine test for you. Mind you, if you are in a bigger city PP will probably involve crossing paths with cruel people who will attack you thinking you are going for an abortion, when in fact you just need a PG test. Where I live, PP doesn't perform any procedures, just birth control, pap testing and PG testing.

I wish the best for you. Perhaps if your test comes back negative PP could help get you on the pill so this doesn't happen in the future.

So basically I'm a possibly pregnant sinner who could have accidently murdered a baby but didn't and may now be pregnant..... all I was looking for was some help. This is unbelievable. I'm over here scared out of my mind because I obviously have no family to turn to otherwise I wouldn't be on here. I am all alone in this and thought maybe I could try to do the right thing and take care of a precious child, but you have to start somewhere. I didn't expect that.... I'm just so alone and wanted help.....

kessa, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for your reply. You are a true angel. I was sitting here afraid to read on after that message. I couldn't stop the tears when I read that.. but you at least brought a little sunshine. Thank you......

Is it possible that you could have become pregnant from having sex on a different occasion after you had taken the morning after pill? Even if you used birth control, those suckers have a sneaky way of getting through. Best of luck, don't let ignorant people get the best of you. People don't realize that they must walk not just one mile in some else's shoes, but a lifetime, to truly understand what one is going through.

Hi. I just wanted to add that you can also go to a Crisis Pregnancy Center and they'll do a test for free. If you are pregnant, they will help you with medical care, clothing, and baby necessities. You can find them in the yellow pages. God bless you!

You are so welcome. I'll never understand the logic that those kind of people follow. To truly be a Christian is to be like Jesus - and he didn't scream at people who made mistakes, he went among them and comforted them. But I don't think that religion has a place in this discussion. Like Madonna once sang "Papa Don't Preach" and all the religious zealots took that the wrong way too. You don't need to be cursed at and told what you did was morally wrong. It happened and now you need support and love. I hope for your sake that the test comes back negative, because you obviously do not want to be pregnant now, but if you are, I am here for you. This ID is my Yahoo Messenger ID kessa3- if you want to talk IM me and I'll give you my email address, or we can chat.

i'd just like to say that i'm a christian, and i think abortion is wrong....but i'll never say it's wrong for taking every measure you can to not get pregnant in the first place! many times, a fertilized egg doesn't implant anyway. so what if you do something to make it harder for it to try to? geez....even when it comes to abortion, i'm not going to condemn somebody for it. it's their choice. all i can do is encourage people to NOT make that choice. but anyway, good luck with whatever happens!

Hey, I know what your going threw, I was just there in August. According to my doctor the pill is 80% effective the first time you take it, and dropps each time you take it after. It can also mess up your cycle pretty bad. So far after taking the pill i was 6 days late, then in september i was 2 days early, and this month I was 4 days late, and each time it has been lighter than normal and less flow than normal as well.

I know this probably wont help you much, but I just wanted to let you know that other people have been threw the same thing and it is OKAY.

I wish you the best of luck
