This is my first month trying to conceive I finished off my last pack of BC pills last month right before my AF I had AF 9-11. Since this is my first cycle I'm not sure if My cycle will still be 28 days or not but if it is My period should be here tomarrow. I took an early PG test this morning because I couldn't wait. Right away the result window got a very faint pink line in it even before the the other line apperared that tells you the test is working. I'm not sure what to think because the line was vertical in one window but my faint line was horizontal in the result window. My question is would a evaporating line show up right away as I was peeing on it. And because the lines were not both vertical does that make it a bfn. Please tell me if this has happened to anyone else.If so what was the result negative or positive. I want to be pregnant so bad but I don't want to get my hopes up to high. Please help.

It totally depends on the test. Look at the instructions really carefully. All the ones I've used had the lines going the same direction, but I think others may be different. There's probably a 1800 number on the instructions that you can call. As for an evaporation line, I can't imagine that one would show up that quickly. Best wishes! Beth

Hi,

The exact same thing happened to me this morning! Today is the latest I think AF would be here (and she's not), so I used the Fact Plus test, and got a medium pink line horizontally across the results window.

I called the 1-800 number, and the woman who answered told me that it meant it was negative. I'm still hopeful, though...I bought some Clear Blue tests today and am going to try to wait til Friday to try one.

Please keep us updated on your situation!

Take care, and good luck,

Jen
