Just want to know if I could be preggers

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this, so not sure how it all works. Esp. all of the abbriviations.
I just got married about a month ago and we had sex for the first time on the wedding day. I've been on BC(Yasmin) for over a year and have had regular periods..never been late, never missed one. My last period was July 18-24. We got married August 4(first time to have sex). We were on our honeymoon, so just think of how many times we had sex.
I was due for my next period on August 15. The Sunday before (August 13) I started to feel slight cramping, but then that night I was very nauseated, and that continued for the next week, along with being extremely fatigued,I can smell EVERYTHING, very emotional, tender breasts, having to pee all the time, and we now have noticed that my areolas have gotten darker. My husband and I thought that it's possible that I'm pregnant, so when I was 4 days late from having AF, we bought HPT. They have all been negative up to this point. I had some light bleeding/spotting on the fifth day I was late and that lasted for 3 days. It was so light, I only had to use a panty liner and usually I use tampons. So, here we are...TWO weeks late and nothing. Except for all of these symptoms. I constantly feel bloated and my stomach area/below my ribs is very tight. I have certain food cravings and I'll cry for no reason. I feel nauseated morning and night and there are certain foods and smells that I just can't stand.
We think I'm either pregnant or there is something wrong with me. I don't have any insurance and what I need is a blood test. I know this is long, but I just don't know what to do. I haven't had a positive HPT, but no period and all of these annoying symptoms going on with my body!
If anyone has any advice or going through the same thing, let me know, please. I think that's it for now. We've talked to both of our mom's...and now our family's know that we might be preggers...but no one really knows. They are all on pins and needles waiting for something positive.
Thanks for reading this novel!

Wow, its sounds like you have every symptom there is!
Well, when I was preg. with my daughter I had to get a blood test. I tried 5 different hpt. and one of the doctors preg. test & it all came out neg. Well, they did a blood test & I was preg.! They gave me a preg. test a the doc's office every month I went in and we didn't get a positive one until I was 7 months.
I'm not sure what state you live in or anything but here in Texas we have a couple of options. We have WIC & Medicaid or if you make more money than they require you to we have doctors that strictly go off of your income & you can make payments to them.
Well, good luck. Hope I was of some help! Let me know if you find out anything!

XOXOXO
Carrie,
Thank you!! Knowing I'm not alone really helps. We are taking a hpt tomorrow morning. I just talked to my husband and he thinks more than likely it will be negative and I'm going to look into getting some blood work done.
Again, thank you for the info.

Thanks for the reply:) I'm loving not being alone. I took a test this morning and it was negative...but I had a weird dream where I was telling my husband that I got a positive and it felt so real! I hope everything works out for you, plumbutton.
Again, thanks for the reply.
We've tried First Respone and AccuBlue...I don't remember the name, but it's the one that says your either "pregnant" or "not pregnant". Which one is best?
Thanks!
I am so happy that I am not the only one going through this very same situation (see my post titled ***PLEASE ADVISE*** 9/19/06 for more on my story). When I read your story I swear I was reading about myself. I think the hardest part is the not knowing. Whether you are or not is not as important as feeling "something is not right" and not having an answer. I know when I tell people that I am not feeling "right" they look at me like I've grown two heads. I am going on my second month now without a period which is unheard of for me. I have decided to go to the ER, since I too have no insurance. There they will have to see me a give me a blood test. So I wish you the best of luck and let me know how it turns out.
