hi, i'm new on here so i don't know the jargon, so i'm gonna go at it long hand.
my last period started march 26 after i took out my last nuvaring. since then i haven't gotten another period. I've taken quite a few hpt's but all were negative. i really haven't had too many symptoms, tired, achy, gassy and if i drink anything i have to pee. boobs don't hurt or anything, not nauseous or anything like that. I'm just wondering if I could possibly be pregnant or if this is just my body being confused after going off the nuvaring.
any help would be great. I would go to the doctors but i don't have health insurance so i'm playing the waiting game. it's an annoying game!

Hi,

HPT's are usually pretty accurate, however not always. So I think the best bet would be to go to a doctor. What would you do if it said positive??? Go to a doctor I hope is your answer!

Not to preach but are you truly ready to get pregnant? I mean you do not have health insurance. It can be very expensive with no health insurance. You start off going to the doctor once a month. You get at a minimum 2 ultrasounds during your pregnancy and those are MASSIVELY expensive!! And then when it gets closer you go twice a month and when it is even closer you go once a week. You also have to think about delivery time the hospital is the MOST expensive part!! I truly am not trying to preach I am just trying to get you to think about the big picture before you dive into a lifetime of expenditures...get health insurance first!!! It will help you out a lot in the long run!!

If you are pregnant congratulations and if you are not CONGRATULATIONS, because that means you have time to find some health insurance to help offset the cost ofyour new bundle of joy!

Good Luck!!

Hello,

You brought up some excellent points!! I had no idea how many doctor visits are involved. I have never had a baby

It could just be the nuvaring working it's way out of your system.
