Hi,

I was wondering how far apart the lines on an early response preg test should be if positive? i got a faint line (MUCH lighter than the control line) but it wasn't that close to it (it was closer to the edge of the window) could this be a positive or perhaps a mistake? any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks in advance

Take a look at the inside of your directions. They should show you what a postive looks like. If it's not even close to that maybe something wrong with the test. Usually both lines are pretty centered within themselves. Good luck.

A line is a line. Sometimes there is an evaporation line but it is usually really thick & barely there. A true pregnancy line is very thin and matches the width of the control line on a first response test. Congratulations - it sounds like you are in the very early stages of pregnancy!
