I am new here. TTC#1. 20DPO. Previous m/c one year ago. AF now 6 days overdue. Good news right? Tingly bbs, occasional mild lower abdominal cramps. No nausea, and nothing else.

HPT's are all very very faint lines, with different brands. I suppose its positive, except, I remember from last year (using EPT) a distinct bright line within seconds. So I am expecting the same thing, which is not happening.

I am going make an appointment tomorrow for a doctor's visit to see what's going on, maybe an U/S and blood test.

I am worried that my HCG is low and its a nonviable pregnancy or ectopic.

Just a little anxious. Desperate for good news and reassurance.

Hey - congratulations on being PG! There are many, many success stories out there about people who started out with very faint lines on HPTs, then went on to have healthy babies (I also frequent the "Trying to Conceive" message board, and women are always posting questions like yours... and other women are always posting success stories.)

A line is a line. Just because your tests are showing a faint line right now doesn't mean anything. Go ahead and visit your doctor to be on the safe side, but I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Congratulations again!

:O) ...the faint line is nothing to worry about...could you have been a little further along with your first? You're very early in this pregnancy, the line would be darker if you were further along maybe, but it's definetly nothing to worry about!! We're ttc #4. Good Luck!! Amanda

Thank you. You are the first person who has actually said "congratulations", sounds strangely wonderful. I hope all goes well.
