Hello,
My name is Theresa and DH and I have been TTC #4 for almost 2 years. I found out through laproscopic surgery in February that I have endometriosis and that is where the difficulties are coming from. I was just wondering something and I hope you can help me with this. I read a post here that someone said that if you have extra OPK test strips left over that you can use them as an HPT...is this really true? I wonder this because I used an OPK this past cycle and had 2 left over, my last LMP was 8/7 and the test stick turned positive on cd10, DH and I BD'd that night and the following night as well. My cycle is very regular at 26 days, which makes AF due today (9/2). When I read about the OPK as an HPT thing I decided to try it, on Sunday evening, and it turned positive, not as dark as the indicator line, but definantly not faint either. I took another one yesterday afternoon and the same thing again, a little darker than on Sunday, but still not as dark as the indicator line, but still definantly not faint. I bought a different brand of OPK (Answer) to use this cycle if AF comes, and for the heck of it I decided to see what that brand would tell me, and this one turned positive too, and this one was darker than the indicator line. I know since I am due for AF today that I could probably take an HPT, but I am scared to do that and see it turn negative again...seen it way too many times and I do not want to get disappointed again. My question is this...according to the OPK as HPT theory, I am probably pregnant right? I do not fully understand that whole thing, so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, I know it has been long, and thank you in advance for any replies.
