Luteal Phase always the same?
| Wed, 10-08-2003 - 12:56pm |
I ovulated about a week earlier this cycle than I normally do - should I have also gotten AF earlier? Normally my AF would have been due yesterday, but if I use my LP, it should have been here last week. Any thoughts? TIA

You should get your period 12 to 16 days after ovulation. I think this is true for all women, and most women usually don't vary from their normal luteal phase by more than a day +/-. So if you ovulated a week early you should get your period a week early. Of course there are things that can cause problems with a women's luteal phase, but if you've always been normal chances are you don't have anything to worry about. Have you tested?
