Ok let me explain...

I went to the doctor last Monday. He did a urine test...it was negative. He also checked my uterus and said it was 4 to 6 weeks in size. SO..dh and I decided to act as if I was not pg! Now...I am going back to the doc on Friday and my chart appears to look like I am about to O soon! We are both ready to stop trying. We don't even want to have sex anymore. Has anyone else been through this? If so can you please give me some advice?

Hello I have been in the medical field for 13 years, and I am here to tell you that you need to go into that doctors office with a list of questions. Doctors bless their hearts are usually good at their jobs but they are run by the business. They are usually only alotted about 8 minutes per patient. So their objective is unfortunately not meeting your needs but to stay on schedule and keep the waiting room empty. OK that being said, first of all you need to have them do another pregnancy test for you. If you are not pregnant and they can tell you within a few min if they do the test there. Have a list of questions to ask the doctor. Tell them you want blood work done if you are not preg. and find out what is going on. It is your body and no one is going to look out for it like you can. I say have a list because most of the time people go into the office and then get talking about something else and never ask the doctor what they really wanted to know. And dont let him out of the room until you have your questions answered. They try to sneak out and then send a nurse in to follow up with you. So be prepared.

Good luck.

I have been in the medical field for 10 yrs. I went in with a list and the doc just blew me off. He told me my uterus was 4 to 6 weeks in size but the pg test (urine) was neg. I asked for blood work and he said it was not necessary. I am going back friday with my list to see a different doc in the group. I hope that a different doc will listen to me and not just blow me off again!!!!!
