morning after pill twice...

Ok...So I have a question...I took the morning after pill in early May because of an "incident" and my period came on time that month...In late June, this happened again and I took the pill again...A week after I took the pill, I began bleeding. But my period had just stopped 1 1/2 weeks before...The period in late June/early July only lasted 2 days instead of the usual 5 and seemed unusual.

Recently I have been very emotional/moody and I've been having trouble eating. I've also had intense heartburn and bloating (after the short period). Today I felt dizzy...I have no idea what's going on.

I know the morning after pill causes your period to come earlier but it should only come slightly early. I'm really scared right now.

I don't know much about the morning after Pill. Although to me, it sounds like your confused enough to see a doctor. Or possibley call your pharmisist. They can tell you normal side effects or not. Good luck and try to be more carefull so you don't have to rely on the morning after pill so much. Not passing judgement or anything just advice.

Hi there... the morning after pill is like a heavy, heavy dose of BCP, and I'm pretty sure that it can really mess with your cycle and give you all those symptoms you're having. Especially if you've taken it twice w/in a short time frame. But the PP was right, you might want to check with either your doctor, or a pharmacist to confirm the side effects. Good luck! I hope everything works out the way you want it too....

The morning after pill can send your uterus into shock. I am not one to judge anyone but if you do this too many times you can mess up your body and/or prevent yourself from being able to carry a baby to term if at all.
You should really see your OBGYN immediately cause you may have an infection or something may have not worked with the pill, or you could be having a reaction to it since you said it is the 2nd time in such a short time that you took it. I am no expert on the pill but have researched it to familiarize myself with options if I ever choose to go that route and uterus shock was one side effect that stands out to me.
